Shift4 Delivery - publish to Spillover DSP

Overview

Restaurants using Shift4 Delivery (part of the "Skytab" POS) can manage their online ordering setup and publish menus directly to Spillover DSP through the Shift4 Delivery platform.

Please note:

  • The Shift4 team is responsible for configuring and managing the online ordering dashboard/menu setup.
  • Shift4 can publish menus directly to Spillover DSP.
  • Any future menu changes or cleanup should be coordinated directly with the Shift4 team.
  • Changes can be enabled specifically in the Shift4 Delivery menu dashboard, OR directly from the Point of Sale. 


Setup Instructions

1. Enable Shift4 Delivery

To get started, confirm that Shift4 Delivery has been enabled on your account.

Steps:

  1. Sign in at https://lh.shift4.com/sign-in
  2. From the left-hand navigation, select: Delivery Management
  3. Click: Get Started


2. Submit the Shift4 Request Form

Once Shift4 Delivery has been enabled, complete the Shift4 Request Form:

Important:

  1. Under the Justification field, enter: Shift4 Delivery, publish to Spillover DSP.

After the request is submitted, the Shift4 team should reach out to begin onboarding and setup.
You may loop our team into communications with Shift4 as needed during their onboarding.


3. Shift4 Delivery Setup

Shift4 Delivery will sync your POS menu and publish it to Spillover DSP.

When ready to publish, Shift4 will need the dedicated Spillover login credentials, which will be provided by your Spillover Project Manager.



4. Review Published Ordering Menu

Once Shift4 has published the menu to Spillover DSP, your project manager can provide the Spillover order link for review. 

  1. Review the Spillover ordering link/menu carefully.
  2. Test menu categories, modifiers, pricing, and ordering flow.
  3. Coordinate directly with Shift4 for any requested menu changes or cleanup.

Additional Notes

  • POS resyncs may overwrite any manual menu edits made in Spillover, so we strongly advise all menu maintenance and updates managed through Shift4 Delivery to be coordinated directly with the Shift4 team.
  • We recommend thoroughly reviewing all menus and order flow before go live. 
  • Menu changes in the POS should be resync'd in Shift4 Delivery and published to Spillover.

Shift4 Delivery Support: 

Shift4 provides dedicated support for all Shift4 Delivery and Online Ordering inquiries through its support line at 1-888-276-2108. Restaurants can call and follow the prompts for Technical Support or Online Ordering to be routed to the appropriate specialists.

For ongoing requests and documentation, restaurants may reply directly to existing case threads or submit new inquiries through the Shift4 Support Portal. The portal offers 24/7 live chat support and ticket submission, ensuring requests are automatically tracked and assigned to the appropriate team.

During the onboarding and setup process, Shift4 provides full implementation support, including configuration of the online ordering menu structure, modifiers, and layout. Following launch, restaurants are responsible for routine menu maintenance through the Lighthouse dashboard, including price updates, adding or removing menu items, and managing item availability. For more complex configuration changes or significant menu restructuring, Shift4 Support remains available to provide assistance and guidance.
