How to Boost a Post
1. Choose either an Ad-Hoc post or a Campaign Post that has been published and then click on the Megaphone symbol to start the Boost
2. The Boost Modal will appear. It defaults to Boosting on Facebook. You can toggle between Facebook and Instagram to boost on one or the other or both.
Note : You must select an Ad Account for the Boost payment on each platform and then set the Boost Criteria.
Setting Boost Criteria:
- Duration : a good default is a week.
- Locations : choose the cities and/or states to target the post. Just start typing and options will become available.
- Interests : this can be genres of food, event types etc. Just start typing and options will become available.
- Optimization Goal : Choose from Post Engagement, Reach or Link Clicks
- Ages and Gender - these default to wide age range and all genders, but can be more targeted if desired.
- Budget : a good default is $50.
3. Toggle to Instagram and repeat above steps if you wish to also boost on Instagram. You must select an Ad Account for each platform's boost....it can be the same or different Ad Accounts if you have more than one.
4. Click Boost to submit and start boosting. Your boost will show as "Active" when it is live.
How to View Boosted Post Performance
1. You can view Boost Info and Performance by clicking on the Info and Reports icons.

2. You can also see the aggregate performance of all your boosted posts by going to the Reports section.
