Using Your Campaign Calendar: Filtering, Viewing and Rescheduling Posts and Emails, and Accessing Metrics

From your campaign calendar in Engage, you can customize your view using filters, look at the content of upcoming posts and emails, reschedule posts and emails, and access the engagement metrics of historic posts and emails. To do so, navigate to your engage campaign calendar.

  • I. Using Filters to Customize Calendar View

What is displayed to you when you view your calendar can be customized. The default settings include all of your emails (custom & automated) and social media posts across all platforms and website calendar events

To reduce this view, for instance to view only your upcoming Instagram and Facebook Posts, simply uncheck all of the posts  you do not wish to see, and check those you do.  Your calendar will automatically be filtered, allowing you to see an overview of specific media without the clutter of your other posts and events. These can be added back by simply re-clicking their check box.

Likewise, the calendar view can be change to display as either the whole month, the current week, or a single day by selecting the appropriate filter from the view choices.

  • II. Viewing Content of Posts and Emails Displayed on Your Calendar Click Posts/Emails to view content.

To view the content of the posts and emails displayed in your calendar, navigate to the calendar and inside the calendar simply click on the desired post or email.

This will bring up an overview of the upcoming post or email, including detailed information about the scheduled send time, when it was last modified, and the actual content. To edit the post or email, click on the "Edit" hyperlink. A preview of the post, as a customer would see it, can be seen by clicking "Open Preview in a New Window" at the bottom of the popup.

III. Rescheduling Posts & Emails using Drag & Drop

To Reschedule a future Post or Email, simply select the post or email you want to reschedule and drag and drop it to the new date you want and enter the new time in the popup window that appears.  It will take a few seconds for the change to update.
Note: if you want to just move to a different time on the same day, then change the calendar view from Month to Day and you can drag and drop to a new time on same day.
Note2: You cannot reschedule a post or email that has already gone out.

  • IV. Accessing Metrics From Historic Posts & Email

To view the metrics from a previous post or email, locate the desired post or email in the campaign calendar and, like when viewing the content of an upcoming post, simply click on it.

An overview of engagement metrics is displayed above the content of what was sent. This included the number sent, the total view, and the total clicks. To view and generate a full report click on the "See Full Report" hyperlink.
