Setting up Spillover Stream integration to Clover POS

Connecting your Clover POS to Stream and connecting your Spillover DSP


1. Go to the Spillover Stream Welcome Page https://spillover.streamorders.com/welcome and click on Clover



2, Enter your Clover admin login credentials



3. You will be brought to the Spillover page in the Clover App Market.  Click on Connect



4. You will be presented with the pricing & subscription info popup which defaults to the option of 'Free'.  Click Connect.



5. You will see the Complete your Account page.  The initial Spillover Stream account email will be provided by Clover and cannot be changed.  You can update the contact info and  set your own account password.  When you have entered a password click continue.



6. Select your POS locations


7. Your Menu(s) will automatically be pulled into Stream from your POS and you can start to make edits : Remove Categories, Archive Items. Add Descriptions, Remove Modifiers.  Note: New Items/Modifiers should only be added to the POS.  



8. You should set your hours at the Menu level.  Stream supports more than 1 menu....e.g. Lunch menu with set hours, Dinner Menu with set hours.  


9. When ready to connect to your Spillover Online Ordering, click on "Connect Delivery Partner" or click the "+"



Choose Spillover


Choose "Connect DSP"



Enter your Spillover Online Ordering Admin login provided by Spillover.  (Note this is different to your Engage login).

Troubleshooting Clover Printing (not printing or not displaying all order items)

Concepts: remote firing device and remote firing printer
  • Remote-firing device: A Clover device (tablet) that receives an online order and fires (sends) it to a remote-firing printer.
  • Remote firing printer: The printer that prints your expediter (expo) receipts, which displays an entire order, including items with or without labels. Your remote firing printer must be connected to your remote firing device, and you can only change the remote firing printer from the remote firing device.
How do I find my default remote firing device?
  1. On any Clover device, open the Setup app.
  2. Tap Online Ordering > Settings.

To print a full Expo Receipt for on online order : Choose "Manage printing preferences for Online Ordering," then toggle on "Print an expo receipt with full order."

Order Types

There may be auto assigned Order types set up (per below) and these will be used by Stream.


If there are no Auto-assigned Order Types then add the following two Order Types.  'Spillover - Delivery' and 'Spillover - PickUp'
