Loyalty Rewards Program

Loyalty Rewards Program

1. Setting up your SpillOrder Loyalty Program

To enable your SpillOrder Loyalty Program go to Marketing-> Loyalty and Toggle ON.  Configure the Rules for your Loyalty Program.  See explanation of options below. Note points are earned for every dollar spent.  $1 spend = 1 point.  Y

1. Minimum Sub total = the min amount a customer needs to spend on an order before before they can redeem any of their accrued points in the checkout.   This encourages the customer to perhaps spend a little more so they can use their points.  Default is $10 but this can be changed.

2. Minimum Redeemable Points = The min number of points that a customer needs to earn before they can start to redeem them.  Points are earned on the basis of $1 spend = 1 point, so this forces the customer to have spent $X on orders before they can start to get discounts.  Default is 100 points which equates to $100 spent on orders.

3. Points per $  =  This Is the redemption value of points in the checkout. Default is 20 points gives a $1 discount, (equivalent to a 5% discount), but this can be changed.  Another common value used is 10 points points gives you $1 discount.

4. Visit Threshold and Reward Points = You can set a bonus number of points that can be awarded based on order volume in a 1 month period.  The clock resets every month and every X orders.  This encourages frequency of orders.  Default is 4 orders gives a 100 point bonus.

2. How a customer checks their points

A customer can check their points status at any time by logging into their account and see how many order orders are required to unlock their Bonus points.

3.  How a customer redeems points

Points can be redeemed in the checkout as long as the reward program rules have been met (i.e. min order value, min number points earned).  The "Use Now" button will be grayed out If the redemption rules have not been met.

4. How to manually grant reward points to a customer

You can choose to grant additional reward points by going to Customers Page. Find the customer and click on their name to view Customer Details.  Click "Add Loyalty Points" and enter the number of points you want to give.   You can use this feature to run marketing campaigns targeting your Loyalty Program Customers e.g. run competitions and the winner earns extra rewards.

5. How to run a merchant report showing points earned/redeemed in a given period

Go to Reports->Loyalty Points

Select the period you want to  view.  By default all points earned and redeemed wil display.  You can apply different filters and also export to data to a CSV file.
