How to schedule the publishing of your page edits
Schedule Publishing Page Changes
The Site Editor allows you to schedule when page updates are published. This is useful when you want to prepare changes ahead of time and have them automatically go live on a specific date and time without needing to manually publish the page.
Option 1: Schedule an Alternate Version
If a page already has an unpublished alternate version, you can schedule that version to automatically become the live page at a later date and time.
- Navigate to Site Editor > Pages.
- Locate the page with the alternate version you want to publish.
- Create a new alternative version if you haven't already.
- Edit the page with your changes.
- Expand the page, if necessary, to display its alternate versions.
- Click the Schedule Publish icon next to the alternate version.
- Select the date and time you want the alternate version to be published.
- Save the schedule.
At the scheduled date and time, the alternate version will automatically replace the currently published version of the page.
Step 1: Create an alternative version by clicking the + icon.

Step 2: Edit the alternative version and then schedule the publishing of the alternative version

Option 2: Schedule While Editing a Page
If you are making new changes to a page, you can schedule those edits before saving them.
- Open the page in the Site Editor.
- Make any desired changes.
- Locate the Schedule publish section near the top of the page.
- Click Select Dates and choose the date and time you want the updated page to be published.
- Click Save.
Your changes will be saved and automatically published at the selected date and time.

Additional Notes
- If the Schedule publish field is left blank, the page must be published manually.
- You can edit or remove a scheduled publish date before it goes live.
- Scheduling only affects the selected page or alternate version.
