How to add a Google Tag to your Spillover website

Once you have the Google Tag ID it is easy to add the Tag to your Spillover website via ENGAGE.   Following the steps below will add the tag automatically to every page on your site.  More info on Google Tags 

How to Add your Google Tag ID to your Spillover Website


1. Go to Settings->Locations and then click "Manage Location" button.

2. Go to Integrations and Select the dropdown.


3. Find Google Ad Tag


4. Enter the Tag ID


How to Find your Google Tag ID in your Google Ad account

Log into your Google Ads account and go to Tools->Data Manager


Click on Manage to see your Tag detaiils



You will see two IDs for your Google Tag.  The GT-XXXXXXX is the new Unified Google Tag and the AW-XXXXXXX is the legacy Ads Tag format.  Either will work.  We recommend using the GT format one.



How to find your Google Tag ID in your Google Analytics Account


Login to your Google Analytics account and click Admin at bottom of navigation.




Click on Data Streams

Click on the Stream you want to manage

Click on Configure Google Tag

There will be two Tag IDs.  The GT-XXXXXX format is the newer Unified Tag ID.  The G-XXXXXX format is the legacy Google Analytics format. Either will work.  We recommend using the GT tag.
