Best Practices for managing your eClub mailing list
This guidance presents 5 ideas for how you can stay in touch with your eClub Subscribers using a combination of the Engage Email Marketing pre-built templates and Engage's DIME automated messages.
1. Thank You Email (Autoresponse on form submission)
When a customer signs up an Automatic "Thank You" response should get sent to their email immediately thanking them for signing up for your restaurant’s eClub and to keep an eye out for future promotion emails.
Example:
Thank you for signing up for (Restaurant’s) eClub. We appreciate your business and loyalty. Keep an eye out for future promotions in your inbox.
2. Welcome Package Email (setup new DIME Automated Message to trigger X days after the Thank you for joining)
The welcome package email should have some sort of promotion or discount for the customer to visit (or revisit) the restaurant.
Example:
Thank you for signing up for (Restaurant’s) eClub and being a valued customer. We look forward to seeing you soon! Present this email to your server to get one free appetizer or dessert next time you’re in. Can’t wait to see you!
3. Quarterly Emails: Schedule an email blast to go out once a quarter to your subscribers. Engage has a number of Pre-Built Templates that you can customize and schedule.

4th quarter – Holiday Special 20% Off Entire Purchase
4. Birthday Special – Free dessert (turn on DIME's pre-built Automated Message that will send 7 days before a subscribers birthday)
Example:
Happy Birthday! Enjoy a free dessert on us!
5. eClub Anniversary Special - 'Verify information once a year' email to keep the list accurate. (setup new DIME Automated Message to send to a subscriber 365 days after they subscribed)
Happy eClub Anniversary! It’s been a year since you signed up. We want to make sure our records are accurate to get you the best promotions. Please confirm your contact information and receive a free appetizer on us.
