Updating your domain to point to Spillover Name Servers

Notes
Note: Spillover Support must replicate the DNS before you update the DNS settings in your domain registrar account.  Please make sure this step has occurred first, in order to avoid your website being down.

  • Log into your domain registrar account and find the domain you want to update and copy-paste the name server addresses into the DNS Settings or Domain Name Server Setup area
  • Spillover Domain Name Servers :
    • NS1.SPILLOVER.COM
    • NS2.SPILLOVER.COM
  • Once the name servers have been updated, the DNS Propagation time can vary greatly.  In some cases it can be as quick as 30 min and in others it can take 48-72 hours.
If your domain registrar supports delegate access,   we would be happy to make these updates for you. You can assign delegate access to

UPDATING A RECORD : When not possible to update Name Servers an alternate approach can be to just Update the A record.
-Point the primary A Record to our IP 3.12.54.22
-If your WWW A record / Cname is not set to go to the primary, then you can point that to the same IP.
-Please confirm when completed and/or send a screenshot and we'll verify the connection.
