Updating your domain to point to Spillover Name Servers

Updating your domain to point to Spillover Name Servers

1. Making the update yourself

Note: Spillover Support must replicate the DNS before you update the DNS settings in your domain registrar account.  Please make sure this step has occurred first, in order to avoid your website being down.

  • Log into your domain registrar account and find the domain you want to update and copy-paste the name server addresses into the DNS Settings or Domain Name Server Setup area
  • Spillover Domain Name Servers :
    • NS1.SPILLOVER.COM
    • NS2.SPILLOVER.COM
  • Once the name servers have been updated, the DNS Propagation time can vary greatly.  In some cases it can be as quick as 30 min and in others it can take 48-72 hours.

2. Granting Delegate Access to Spillover

If your domain registrar supports delegate access you can grant access to domains@spillover.com and we can update the DNS for you. Instructions for GoDaddy Delegate
