Action Required: Spillover and PCI Compliance

Action Required: Spillover and PCI Compliance

PCI Compliance Overview

PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance outlines the standards for handling credit card payments to protect against fraud. It’s mandatory for merchants accepting both online and in-store payments, the latter typically managed by the POS vendor.

PCI Compliance Questionnaire

Following approval of your Jupico Payment Gateway application, you'll receive an email titled "Action Required: Spillover and PCI Compliance" from support@pciapply.com. Follow instructions in the email to login and complete the brief questionnaire, which should only take a few minutes and is required annually. Since responsibility for compliance lies primarily with the software and payment processor (Spillover and Jupico), merchants are only required to attest that these processes are in place (e.g., data backups, written agreements between parties, etc.), and each question is pre-filled and already confirmed by Spillover and Jupico. To complete the application, simply click "In Place" to confirm each requirement, then click "Next Question" to proceed and Submit.
